The frequency with which Hubstaff records screenshots can be changed in Settings.

To change the screenshot frequency, follow these steps:

Step 1

Click on Settings from the sidebar, then select Features from the drop-down menu. Select the Activity tab, and then click on the Screenshot Frequency option.

The application records screenshots randomly 1x, 2x, or 3x every 10 minutes.
Screenshot resolution adjustments are not possible at this time.
The Mobile apps (iOS/Android) cannot record screenshots.
The Chrome app and extension have limitations with how well it tracks activity. It is limited to 15-second granularity. That means if you do something once every 15 seconds, you will have 100% activity.
The Chrome app and extension cannot show a breakdown of activity for the keyboard and mouse. The numbers will always match. This is a limitation of the information provided by the X screensaver API on Chrome.
