The frequency with which Hubstaff records screenshots can be changed in Settings.
Only organization owners and managers have access to modify this setting.
To change the screenshot frequency, follow these steps:
Step 1
Click on Settings from the sidebar, then select Activity & tracking from the drop-down menu. Select the Screenshots tab, and then click on the Screenshot Frequency option.
Step 2
Then you can select between 1x, 2x, and 3x frequencies of screenshots that you want the application to take for every 10-minute period by default.
Optional
You can also adjust the Screenshot frequency for each team member.
The application records screenshots randomly 1x, 2x, or 3x every 10 minutes.
Screenshot resolution adjustments are not possible at this time.
The Mobile apps (iOS/Android) cannot record screenshots.
The Chrome app and extension have limitations with how well it tracks activity. It is limited to 15-second granularity. That means if you do something once every 15 seconds, you will have 100% activity.
The Chrome app and extension cannot show a breakdown of activity for the keyboard and mouse. The numbers will always match. This is a limitation of the information provided by the X screensaver API on Chrome.
