Question: I have a couple of employees wondering why their time on the time sheet online is different than what is sent in the Daily Team Work Summary e-mail?
Answer: The reason why your daily work summary did not match with the time on the website is due to the following reasons:
- If the data has not been uploaded from the desktop app when the email is generated, then the email will not have a correct full picture of all the time and will be inaccurate.
- If a user removes/deletes/edits time after the email is sent out, then again the email will not be accurate.
- If the desktop app is “quit” before it can upload all the time data, then the daily report will differ from the reports on the Hubstaff website after the desktop app is restarted and uploads the remaining data. The reports page is then correct as it is seeing the full complete view of all data.
