Hubstaff has an attractive referral program that allows you to get 10% off your bill per paid user you refer. That means if you introduce 10 friends to a Hubstaff paid plan you’ll get 100% off your bill, and pay $0.
A referral is claimed when your unique coupon code or link is used when a friend signs up for a paid account.
Please note our referral program applies to both monthly and annual subscriptions.
How to find your unique coupon code or referral link
Log in to your Hubstaff account and click on the Get Hubstaff for free link located at the top right side of your dashboard.
1. In the next screen you can choose which organization to apply the referral to. The organization you choose in this step (1) will determine which subscription the discount is applied to. If you only have one organization please disregard this step.
2. Click on the Refer a friend button.
A pop up screen will appear. You are presented with two options as to how you can share your unique referral link.
1. Share the link via E-mail, Facebook or Twitter. Once your friend signs up for a Hubstaff plan with the unique referral URL, the 10% off discount will be applied to both your monthly subscription as well as theirs.
2. Using a referral link. When your friend signs up for a Hubstaff paid plan using your unique referral URL, the 10% off discount will be applied to both your monthly subscription and theirs.
Please note if you choose this method you must stress to your friend only to sign up using the referral link you give them. If they sign up at a general URL such as Hubstaff.com the discount will not be applied.
Signing Up for Hubstaff Using a Referral Link
Copy your referral link which was located in the previous step.
Ask your friend to open the referral link in their browser. Here they can complete the sign up form by filling out their name, email and password in the fields shown below. They can click Let’s go to proceed.
Please ensure that the referral link is used when signing up as the referral bonus will not be processed when the URL address used is different from the referral link.
Your friend will then be asked to verify their account via email. Ask them to check their email and click the blue confirmation link.
Ask your friend to click the create a new organization button.
Your friend will then be asked to fill out some details regarding their organization. Once completed, they will be taken to the subscription page.
There are two subscription options, Basic or Premium. For more information about each plan type please see our guide here. After scrolling down the page, your friend can click Choose a Basic Plan or Choose a Premium Plan to select a plan type they prefer.
Next your friend will be asked to select their team size by clicking Choose plan. This number represents the amount of members who will be tracking time within their organization.
Your friend will then be asked to input their credit card details.
Once your friend enters their credit card details and presses save, their subscription will be active.
The 10% off discount will then be applied to your your subscription and theirs.
