Troubleshoot issues with screenshots

There is a common issue that all applications using screen recording on Catalina (and higher versions) can face. If you have followed the above instructions and screenshots are still not getting captured, please follow the steps below:

Step 1

Quit Hubstaff.

Step 2

Uncheck Hubstaff from the allowed applications in Security & Privacy > Privacy > Screen Recording.

Step 3

Quit the Security and Privacy page.

Step 4

Open Hubstaff again.

In case the steps don’t work, then you will need to:

1. Open Spotlight by clicking the magnifying glass icon or pressing CMD + SPACE.
2. Type “Terminal” and double click the Terminal application when you see it listed in Spotlight.
3. In the terminal window type “tccutil reset All” and press enter.
4. Open Hubstaff.
