Black or blank screenshots can be caused by software installed on your machine. There are some firewalls, web-shield software, and Internet security software that may interfere with the screenshot function of Hubstaff.
These types of software can cause several of Hubstaff’s functionalities to not work.
If you are experiencing black or blank screenshots, you may temporarily disable the following software to identify the one that is causing the issue.
- Web-shield software like McAfee, and Webroot
- Internet security like Norton
- Firewalls
- We also found out that software like Webroot and VirtualBox, or your computer going to sleep while time tracking may also trigger this behavior.
- Putting the computer to sleep while time tracking may occasionally cause black screenshots to appear on the activity page.
