How to move tasks in Hubstaff Tasks

Follow these simple steps to move tasks across lists, projects, and organizations in Hubstaff Tasks.

Tasks can only be moved by users who are assigned as collaborators, managers, or owners within the project where the task is located.

Move tasks via the context menu

Step 1

To move a task, right-click on a task then choose Move task….

Step 2

The Move task to dialog will appear. Fill in the details then click Move.

Step 3

That’s it! Your task will be moved to its new location.

 


Moving tasks from the task page

To move your tasks on the task page, please follow the steps below:

Step 1

First, click on the task you wish to move.

Click on the ellipsis […] button towards the right-hand side of the task window then select Move task….

Step 3

The Move task to dialog will appear. Fill in the details you wish to copy from the original task, then click Create.

That’s it! Your task will be moved to its new location.
