Filtering by Activity and Idle Time

Hubstaff makes it easier for you to remove non-productive time. You can apply advanced filters to your screenshots and timesheets to view specific activity levels or time types, such as idle time.

This is particularly useful for Managers and Owners to batch remove time according to activity levels or idle time.

Once the time and activities are deleted, they are permanently removed and can no longer be restored.

How to filter time tracked according to activity level

Step 1

Use the main navigation menu to browse to the relevant section. Activity levels can be filtered across the following menu sections:

Activity -> Screenshots:

Timesheets -> View & edit:

Step 2

Navigate to the ACTIVITY LEVEL filter, then choose the activity percentage you wish to filter.

Step 3

Your view will now be filtered. For example, if you select the <40% option, all-time tracked between 0-40% will be displayed.

Visually, this is what it will appear under the Screenshots section, with that filter applied. As per below, all blocks of activity over 40% are hidden.

Similarly, this is how the filter will appear under the Timesheets section. Only periods of under 40% activity are visible.
