How does Hubstaff work on a terminal server/remote desktop or virtual machine?
There are two ways to look at this situation:
When installed in the terminal server/remote desktop/virtual machine, Hubstaff tracks time and activity on the terminal server / remote desktop only. There will be no time or activity tracking on any other user system connected to the server or desktop.
When installed in a User system, Hubstaff tracks time and activities for only that system. When such users connect to a terminal server / remote desktop, the screenshots will record what they see on their screen. Therefore, anything that is displayed from the terminal server / remote desktop on the user screen will be captured as screenshots. Hubstaff will also record the Apps and URLs accessed through its user system on the remote server.
