Passive location tracking allows the mobile app to track locations without actively tracking time to a project when the user is within range of a job site.
Passive location tracking is only available on our Premium and Enterprise Plans.
To enable passive locations, go to Settings -> Features -> Track Locations (Mobile only) -> Then you can toggle the setting to Always to enable passive location tracking. You can enable the setting for your entire organization or for individual users.
Go to Job SitesBETA -> Add a job site.
Select a team member under the “Members” selection field. After that, select either of the three options below for both On Arrival and On Departure of a job site:
- Start/Stop Timer – starts the timer when a user is within range of a job site and stops the timer when the user is not within range of a job site.
- Send Reminder – sends the user an email when they are within range of a job site.
- Do nothing
You can also select which project the user will automatically track time to upon arrival at a job site.
