The background helper is enabled by default; this launches a background process to monitor URLs so that it doesn’t interfere with the main app.
You can enable or disable the background helper by following the steps below.
Step 1
Launch the Hubstaff application. Click the expand button at the bottom right corner of the app, then click on the options (menu) icon on the upper-right hand corner of the app.
Step 2
Click on Preferences.
Step 3
In the preferences options, you can enable or disable the background helper by clicking on the checkbox and then click OK. You’ll need to restart the app for the changes to take effect.
