Can I run Hubstaff on a terminal/remote server?

Question:

Does this work on a terminal server that our remote employees log into using Remote Desktop?

Answer:

Hubstaff should work on a terminal or a remote server. However, it will only be able to track time, activity, screenshots, etc. from within the session and not on the users local system; e.g. if the user runs Firefox locally and plays with that, you won’t see that activity.

Hubstaff is an app just like any other app, a terminal server client is essentially a vnc session. Thus, if Hubstaff is installed on the client side, it will track input for anything you do, local apps or terminal apps. Screenshots will cover the entire local desktop, thus the terminal server session. If Hubstaff is installed on the server side, it will only track input for the apps running from the terminal server, likewise screenshots will only be from the terminal server. Terminal server can run in two different ways:

A) Remote desktop, where the user has a complete desktop, very similar to what you get in VNC, this should be fully supported.

B) App mode, where the user launches just an app, and it appears integrated with their local desktop, appearing as though it were just another local app.
